This Level 3 qualification is designed for a person at an arboricultural level of expertise, or in training. The key is to provide people with the practical skills, knowledge and experience to be able to undertake utility arboricultural work safely, effectively and using best practices. On completion, the candidate will be able to achieve a competent profile in complying with legal and regulatory requirements, work independently and safely at the urban forest/worksite interface and ensure that the public remains safe around procedures when undertaking arboricultural work. They will also have the option to add an insulated tool work strand to their capability of to work under an electrical supply network.

Utilisation of procedures and processes for communication relevant to Utility Arborists.
Optional- Undertake insulating tool, plant and equipment safely within a utility arboricultural role and use insulating tools to undertake works in and around electricity supply infrastructure.
